The two dashes combined with gathering gears range of escape skills will give you the best chance possible of survival. A Bloodletter will be absolutely fine for pve too ... it’s not actually a bad weapon and will serve you well. It's basically the ultimate chase-down-that-gatherer-and-loot-him weapon. If someone actually stands up to you with a solid DPS weapon you'll get your ass kicked and have to use the mobility the weapon offers you to run away like a scared little girl.
