WebJul 22, 2013 · I have a MIM Robert Cray in Inca Silver and a 1991 American Standard with Fat 50's. The Cray has a bassy crisp sund which gives that full sound with a little sparkle. The Fat 50 pickups have both bass and provide that shimmery sparkle which is reminicent of older Strat pickups. WebFender Custom Shop Robert Cray Pickups in excellent condition. Vintage construction includes Alnico V magnets with cloth lead wire, fiber bobbins and plain enamel coating. Flat pole pieces on the bridge pickup. Middle pickup is reverse wound. New covers and mounting hardware included. Sold as is.
