WebbBy Default, the Skyrim map can be a little touchy when it comes to fast-traveling to the new Dawnguard locations. The only reliable solution I've found is to rotate the map (by right-click dragging), which changes the angle and pushes the locations "up", making them much easier to select. From what i've heard the dawnguard are linked to the rift faction for crime, however paying off my bounty only fixed it the once. The second time it happened I had no bounty, but I just went away, rested for 24 hours, then came back and they were no longer hostile.
